I watched Soupy on Channel 7 WXYZ Detroit, although I lived sixty miles away on the Canadian side. As a child who was sick quite a bit, Soupy was one bright spot in my day. I remember being 5 years old, it was time for Soupy, and I couldn’t get the right channel. My mother was on the phone and I went frantic. She was so ticked off that when she got off the phone, she turned the TV off! No Soupy Sales that day! Worst day of my life!

When the series ended, WNEW erased the master tapes to reuse the tape stock; 75 of the “kinnies” DO exist…

Establishing and respecting boundaries is key to any relationship.
People tend to fight about the same things time and time again. Therefore, you need to frame the issue(s) — so that both of you know what words or ways of addressing the problem don’t fly w/ the other person — and to work within those limitations.
Once you know the boundaries, it becomes about having the discipline & respect to stay within them — much like people have to abide by certain laws to avoid a societal breakdown.

As a couple you grow together and not always in the same way. you really need to be able to talk to your significant other as open minded & open hearted as you can be. Always remembering that this is your LIFE partner & at some point you have to really evaluate where u are in life & if he will be by your side. If at all you should be able to agree to disagree without any resentment.

Part 1…I was married, now divorced. Dont know if I should comment lol.
Counciling is healthy. Youre right its not something that should only be sought when you have a problem, it can be a very good detourance for problems arrising. Change is like evolution, its slow so it needs to be recognized as it occurs. The biggest problems in relationships come from either ignoring the change until its too late, or issues the person had coming into the relationship already.
Part 2… If those problems can’t be compremised, addressed, and talked about with understanding on both sides, then a lot of the time counciling can’t help. Counciling usually only works if both take part, and both are understanding. If one person is set in their ways, no professional can force them to change. Honesty, openness, & understanding are the only things that made a relationship work.
That is why mine failed. I married a Christian girl who thought my beliefs were temporary.
Marriage is a constant learning process. I have been married for 2 years to my wonderful soldier and I learn more about him every day that we are married. As far as arguments, most of the time they’re petty. Learn to give in or at least meet at a half way point. I think we as women think we constantly have to be right because the man has to give in to us because we are the “weaker” species. So learn to compromise. Also,you should know that statistically the first 3 years are the hardest!

Great movie that finds humor in very sour places– very funny. Although it’s made 118 million, it was downgraded by most critics. It’s HILARIOUS; and these actors ripped it up. What they did was amazing. You should only read the reviews from the major papers (on Yahoo) after you see the movie.

I watched Soupy on Channel 7 WXYZ Detroit, although I lived sixty miles away on the Canadian side. As a child who was sick quite a bit, Soupy was one bright spot in my day. I remember being 5 years old, it was time for Soupy, and I couldn’t get the right channel. My mother was on the phone and I went frantic. She was so ticked off that when she got off the phone, she turned the TV off! No Soupy Sales that day! Worst day of my life!

OMG!!! I was only 3 yrs old in 1965; this along with the Paul Winchell-Jerry Mahoney Knucklehead Clubhouse were my earliest memories of TV. Seem to remember that
the Winchell show came on right after Soupy on Channel 5. I also remember the early morning cartoons on WABC channel 7, especially the Puppetoons, the Little Rascals and some show called Billy Bang Bang. Jeez, what memories! Thank goodness for You Tube, the Internet and the smart people who made, saved & uploaded these videos!!!

From what we have been taught in network marketing we usually hurry up and pitch instead of putting the work and time to first learn about what our prospects’ need is.
But your video is a good example that the training is now out there for anyone who want to learn to do it right!

This was great fun to watch. In 1965 and 66 I was part of the “gang” that watched Soupy’s show live in the studio from WNEW every day during the summer months. He was and still is the greatest person of our time. He was ALWAYS kind and generous to all his fans. He is a wonderful entertainer and human being.

good video, its simple to increase muscle and decrease fat once you learn a little more about the differences between losing weight and gaining muscle. leucine is probably the biggest thing for this which is something many people don’t know about and i’m glad i’ve learned about it, its helped me already and i know it will continue to:-)

I haven’t checked out this program, so I can’t say for sure if it’s legit, but I do know that 99.99% of these money making ideas are scams. Establishing and respecting boundaries is key to any relationship.
People tend to fight about the same things time and time again. Therefore, you need to frame the issue(s) — so that both of you know what words or ways of addressing the problem don’t fly w/ the other person — and to work within those limitations.
Once you know the boundaries, it becomes about having the discipline & respect to stay within them — much like people have to abide by certain laws to avoid a societal breakdown.

I worked in Los Angeles and saw Soupy there before he came to NY. Told my friends about him, and 6 months later he’s in NY. Great stuff. Ernie Kovacs was another early television giant. He’s where Laugh In came from. And don’t forget Spike Jones!

Well this is my 1st post WOW how exciting. I really wanted to comment. I have been in a relationship for 8yrs. As a couple you grow together and not always in the same way. you really need to be able to talk to your significant other as open minded & open hearted as you can be. Always remembering that this is your LIFE partner & at some point you have to really evaluate where u are in life & if he will be by your side. If at all you should be able to agree to disagree without any resentment.

Counciling is healthy. Youre right its not something that should only be sought when you have a problem, it can be a very good detourance for problems arrising. Change is like evolution, its slow so it needs to be recognized as it occurs. The biggest problems in relationships come from either ignoring the change until its too late, or issues the person had coming into the relationship already.

Part 2… If those problems can’t be compremised, addressed, and talked about with understanding on both sides, then a lot of the time counciling can’t help. Counciling usually only works if both take part, and both are understanding. If one person is set in their ways, no professional can force them to change. Honesty, openness, & understanding are the only things that made a relationship work.
That is why mine failed. I married a Christian girl who thought my beliefs were temporary.

Marriage is a constant learning process. I have been married for 2 years to my wonderful soldier and I learn more about him every day that we are married. As far as arguments, most of the time they’re petty. Learn to give in or at least meet at a half way point. I think we as women think we constantly have to be right because the man has to give in to us because we are the “weaker” species. So learn to compromise. Also,you should know that statistically the first 3 years are the hardest!

Now we all know where the principality of Monaco is located, as we also know about the Grimaldi family’s history. This video was extremely informative and interesting. While I hope I never have to resort to getting a divorce, I think that collaborative divorce sounds like a good way to go. Rather than going to court, I feel like this open environment would be helpful. I would much rather have a process that focuses on a civil relationship, so this sounds like a good option.

Absolutely – it’s 80% mindset and 20% technique. Two people can look at the exact same survey responses, blogs, magazines, discussion forums, etc…and one will see 5 opportunities, someone else will completely miss them.

I never heard of this before,but I think it’s a great idea. It seems like a win-win situation and if you have kids,it would be very beneficial to have parents not going into a long drag out fight.I think it’s great! First time I’ve heard of this approach but it sounds very refreshing. Sometimes the courts and judges turn couples who are otherwise able to get along into bitter rivals. The collaborative process seems like it can be a much better option and help maintain the integrity of a working relationship and both

Thanks for explaining the collaborative divorce process, involving both the husband and wife being responsible to require them to settle the case without going to court. Court experiences can be more harmful than helpful, causing bitterness and strife for years to come. Things can get so complicated with all the negative factors involved. Maintaining civil relationships is absolutely necessary.

collaborative divorce sounds like an ideal way in an unpleasant situation to keep everything
as civil as possible. As somebody who has gone through a more traditional divorce I
can definately say that this would have made my own divorce much less combative.
I can only hope that as many couples as possible choose this option , which gives the couple
a strong incentive to work together in a peaceful way.

She did everything wrong: over the phone (not face-to-face), I was in my own room in my house (negative association), not being very clear about why or how. I have been through this for years and my opinion stays the same about things of this nature, BEWARE of any offers without a supporting cast. What good is anything without training?
